hello, and welcome to my life!

Since I'm not there in front of you, imagine, if you will, that I've just given you a winning smile and a firm handshake. My name is Connor Fak, and I am a multi-talented, multifaceted storyteller. I have writing experience in broadcast television, documentary television, and narrative short film. Even with many projects under my belt, I like to think that I'm just getting started!

I took my first steps down the road of mature storytelling at the inquisitive age of 10, when I received a LEGO & Steven Spielberg Moviemaker Set. Tools in hand, my brickflim creations immediately displayed an innate sense of narrative (beginning, middle and end, conflict, suspense, etc.). The evidence speaks for itself.

Since then I've only continued to voraciously hone my talents. What began as story-crafting for a few seconds of grainy, jerky webcam footage over time evolved into writing for in-depth, highly-polished media. Case in point is my crowning achievement to date: Working together with a small team of fellow university students I earned an Emmy Award nomination, for writing the TV documentary "Legacies of Perfection." Fun, educational, and enthusiastically-received, this short film delighted audiences across the state of Indiana, where it was broadcast on local PBS stations.

My work on "Legacies" highlights what is perhaps my greatest strength as a creator, a deep passion for history.

Now, as a resident of the greater Los Angeles area, I find myself poised to take on even greater challenges.
